Yoma Group’s Earthquake Relief Efforts in Bhone Oo Village

Located 365 miles from Mandalay, Bhone Oo village experienced severe damage in last month’s earthquake in Myanmar. About 80% of homes were destroyed.
The impact on the community has been significant, with an estimated 260 to 300 casualties, including both injuries and fatalities.
On the ground, our team – led by Miki – delivered essential food items such as rice, cooking oil, and noodles to support more than 1,500 displaced families.
This effort is part of our ongoing support for communities affected by the disaster, as they begin the long road to recovery.
